"Austin Chronicle Building" 5 Light Entry Doors - D31

Circa 1957, this 5-lite exterior door was removed from the “old” Austin Chronicle Building, also known as the Elgin Butler Brick Company Building in Austin, Texas. It stands as a strong example of mid-century design, combining clean lines with functional, well-proportioned glazing.

Heavy and well-built, the door is constructed with a 1/4" walnut veneer, reflecting the quality materials and craftsmanship of the period. Each piece is in need of restoration, offering excellent potential for reuse in a mid-century home or commercial setting.
