While O'Connell Architecture focuses on restoring historic buildings throughout Central Texas, Save the Good Stuff extends that work by rescuing architectural materials and helping them find new life in homes, restoration projects, and commercial spaces.

About Tere O'connell

Tere O’Connell, AIA, LEED AP, is a preservation architect with more than 38 years of experience restoring and adapting historic Texas properties. As principal of O’Connell Architecture, she specializes in historic preservation, adaptive reuse, building research and sensitive renovations that bring older buildings into modern use. Her work has included the Texas Governor’s Mansion, the Alamo, Baker School, the Elisabet Ney Museum and historic courthouses across Texas.
